Welcome to the blog for the Living Churchyard Project at St. Giles, Stanton St. Quintin.

The blog will act as a record of the flora and fauna that we find in the Churchyard throughout the year, along with reports of what's recorded on days that we have our practical sessions. As well as articles that our project coordinators, Ivan and Liz, write throughout the year for the local parish magazine and village website.

Come and find out how sacred land can be managed to sustain a natural abundance of flora and fauna. You can also help with some practical work at St Giles or take a tour of our award winning churchyard.

We're always looking for volunteers, so please feel free to come along and give us a hand.  Gloves and tools provided as, of course, are tea/coffee/soft drinks and biscuits. There's no cost, we just ask that you wear sensible clothes if you would like to help.
